Where we are
This is a very accessible part of Skye, easily reached by public transport and yet an excellent location from which to enjoy the rest of the island. Broadford is just seven miles from the bridge (now without a toll) and close to both the Mallaig to Armadale ferry and the Glenelg to Kylerhea ferry. Buses from Glasgow and Edinburgh and Inverness pass the bottom of our road twice daily. The train station at Kyle of Lochalsh is just across the bridge.
Glasgow Airport Taxis - www.ga-taxis.co.uk is the official transport from Glasgow Airport with taxis, coach transfers and Scottish tours.

The Idyllic Village of Broadford
Broadford has many fascinating stories to reveal, not least that of the invention of Drambuie by local man James Ross, in the Broadford Hotel in the 19th century. Framed by our beautiful mountain, Beinn na Caillich, the hill of the Old Woman, the village blends modern amenities with old world charm. Visit galleries, lovely jewellery, craft and woollen shops, or buy delicious edible gifts from the fish smoke house. Handle the snakes in the Serpentarium or take a boat trip out into the Bay to see the seals. Why not make use of the newly renovated laundrette in the village?
Visit our See and Do/Links page for further details.

Eating out
We are fortunately close to a variety of eating places. Guests can enjoy excellent local food within easy walking distance of our house. We are sure the village can please all palates and pockets!
